Is this the same sort of ‘armed security guard’ that the NRA (& others) think should be placed in the schools to ‘protect’ the children?

Considering? WTF?

“Gee, if only that 9 year old had a gun to shoot back with, this could never have happened!”

Yes, that was a horrible thing to say. & that’s why I said it: to make the point that it’s a horrible attitude from start to finish. It doesn’t address the problem, &, in fact, only exacerbates it.

They’re merely considering it.
As long as police take a softly softly politically correct approach to gun safety - politically correct, that is, toward the NRA way of ‘thinking’ - gun safety will continue to be nothing more than saying the right words. Actual action is, of course, not politically correct.
Because trying to protect our children - and it often is children who’re the victims of accidental shootings, as we see almost daily in the news - is a direct violation of the feelings of gun fetishists and their suppliers. Therefore it is unconstitutional. Anyone who hurts the feelings of a gun fetishist, apparently now even deserves to be arrested and tried for treason.

And these same craven idiots insist that their economic extremism is about Our Children’s Future.

They should consider charges against the business that armed him, as well.

Fourth grader Shayla May Shonneker was about 50 yards away when the gun discharged

The gun didn’t “discharge”, make believe Wyatt Earp pulled the trigger.

The only thing that can stop a dangerous 9-year old girl is an armed moron pretending he’s a cowboy.

At least she probably didn’t have time to realize what had happened. I have to say I’m not really sure what the authorities have to consider, he was in control of the weapon when it discharged his negligent use caused her death.

Another innocent dead because some stupid waste of life was doing something dumb with a loaded weapon. And this poster child for retro-active abortion was supposed to be a professional. Why?!

And why can’t any of these gun control debates ever focus on introducing new regulations to keep guns out of the hands of f***ing morons who don’t even know the rules of gun safety? Any kind of serious attempt to keep the hopelessly irresponsible s***heads who makes rocks look intelligent from ever getting their hands on a firearm?

I mean, an adult playing around like a kid, but with a real and loaded weapon? What the f***ing f***?!

Oh btw, this pissed me off.
